Staff coordination Meeting #

In ‘Before Day 1’ we could have a pre-onboarding meeting with relevant stakeholders to decide on the specific permissions levels for the new employee. Right now the perms are granted based on an educated guess and maybe some minor discussion, and then adjusted as needed. A coordination meeting beforehand might be helpful to ensure everyone understands the OASIS expectations of the role, and ensuring the employee has what they need sooner.

Salesforce #

OASIS uses Salesforce in two ways: as a community and association management tool (members use free licenses to submit forms and pay invoices) and as a traditional CRM for lead management. The member-facing view is at community.oasis-open.org; the staff instance is at oasis-staff.my.salesforce.com. The migration from legacy systems to the current Salesforce configuration is ongoing. Carol will coordinate initial training for new staff.
